There are 37 Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) in the United States focused on preserving Native languages and cultures. Though these numbers are small, they serve a small yet important subset of students within our nation. TCUs not only offer academic programs but also serve as centers for preserving traditional knowledge and values. Supporting and advocating for these institutions is vital not only for the educational opportunities they provide but also for the broader goal of cultural preservation and revitalization within Native communities.
