Complete Tennessee Leadership Institute (CTLI)

Complete Tennessee Leadership Institute (CTLI)

Since 2019, The Hunt Institute has jointly administered the CTLI program with our partners at the State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE) in Tennessee. The CTLI program brings together higher education leaders including institution presidents, state policymakers, local government officials, and more.

CTLI participants develop meaningful bonds with one another as they come together for a series of four meetings that each have a different theme: equity and quality of access, supporting student persistence and retention, helping all students complete, and taking action.

ElevateNC: Higher Education

ElevateNC: Higher Education

The Hunt Institute is preparing to launch ElevateNC, which will feature an inaugural cohort of education leaders from across North Carolina, in fall 2020. The cohort represents the racial, ethnic, gender, and geographic diversity of the state in order to foster dialogue that represents a variety of viewpoints and perspectives. Leaders will engage with resource experts, learn from their peers, and develop action plans for driving change in their communities.

Content falls within four broad themes: building the continuum and understanding the higher education landscape, regional attainment priorities in the Southeast, strengthening pathways to completion, and aligning education and the workforce. The program includes a series of guided activities to help cohort members develop an action plan for driving change that is tailored to their specific role and the needs of their community.

Three of ElevateNC’s four meetings will be held in different locations throughout North Carolina, with one meeting being an out-of-state visit held in conjunction with the Complete Tennessee Leadership Institute.
