Education Week: “Early Reaction to ‘Publishers’ Criteria’ for Math Common Core”

Check out this interesting blog post from Erik Robelen at Education Week about the first draft of the “publishers’ criteria” for the CCSS in math. As states are working to implement the Common Core, these guidelines will ensure that math textbooks and other classroom materials are closely aligned to the CCSS in math. This document stands to be a hugely important resource for educators and materials developers. According to Robelen’s post, the document—though still an early draft—is already getting strong positive reactions.
