Former New Mexico Governor Discusses her Career, Education Accomplishments, and Family
Cary, NC – The Hunt Institute is pleased to announce the release of the latest episode of its podcast series As Yet Untold, featuring an interview between Governor Susana Martinez and The Hunt Institute’s President & CEO, Dr. Javaid Siddiqi.
The podcast was created to provide an outlet for public figures to share a more personal side of themselves, away from the political spotlight. As the name implies, the hope is that each guest takes the opportunity to reveal something they haven’t shared before.
During the conversation, Governor Martinez shares her unique family history and discusses in detail her career, from her days as an assistant district attorney all the way to the governor’s mansion. Listeners will also gain some insights into her passion for education.
“While I have gotten to know Governor Martinez quite well due to her serving on the advisory board of our Hunt-Kean Leadership Fellows program and as an active participant in several of our convenings, it was a pleasure to get to know her on a deeper level and ask her about some of the more unique aspects of her life,” said Dr. Siddiqi. “I am sure listeners will enjoy the conversation.”
Episodes of As Yet Untold are currently slated to release the first Tuesday of each month, and the May guest will be former US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
